Protest in Sopore in support of Pediatrician Dr Suhail Naik | KNO

A protest was held on Saturday by the locals and employees of Sub District Hospital in Sopore town against the alleged malignant newspaper reports 


According to reports  locals, employees of the hospital blocked the main road outside hospital to register protest against the alleged transfer of Dr Suhail Nayak senior pediatrician in Sopore  Sub District Hospital who according to Srinagar based news agency CNS  remain maximum time absent which results to great inconvenience to the general public of town. 


Reports said that protestors shouting slogans in favour of Dr Suhail Nayak, '' we want justice'' '' Don't transfer Dr Suhail Nayak''. 


One of the patient who was hospitalised told that the transfer of Dr Suhail Nayak will drastically affect the healthcare in the hospital.


Another protestor said  that it is not for the first

time that good doctors from the town have been shifted from the town on political approach, stating that government is meting out step-motherly treatment to

her town.


Meanwhile protestors appleaded the government to stop the transfer of Dr Suhail Nayak and to provide advanced healthcare facilities to the people living in the town.
